at the mo i am considering doing a taught masters in microbiology to better my chances at securing a better career. i have a applied and human biology degree where my final yr modules were all microbiology i got a 2.2. at the moment im a lab techniction in a hospital which really doesn't use my brain at all if i stay here i could eventually be trained as a bimedical scientist which offers a stable career but has very slow progression even more so for me as i would have to complete top up modules before i startd training. iwas going to give up this idea and maybe apply for a masters or phd in the hope it would give me more prospects than training to be a biomedical scientist, i am already in 17000 debt from my first degree and 25 years oldand wanted to know if a masters was worth doing??....help please!!!!!!:-(
