MSc Geotechnical Engineering coming from a Geology degree

Hello, my case, is I am geology degree and looking for a MSc. one of my options is Geotechnical Engineering, which I think has relation with my degree, but my question is if it will be so tough in maths or physics, because basically the program is a part of Civil Engineering field. I mean is it a 'normal' path from Geology get into Geotechnical Engineering?
