I am an international student from the USA with offers to study for an MA in IP/IR from Aber and Durham University. I have heard that Aber has the more renowned IR/IP department out of the two. Is this true throughout most of the UK and Europe? Is the department really that phenomenal? I do not intend on receiving a PhD in the subject and would like the degree with the most international flexibility. A career goal includes working for the US State Department. I speak both English and Spanish and have experience working in South America for two years in international development. Additionally, I would like to learn a third language while at university. Both uni's course modules interest me although I have little interest in Middle Eastern/Asian politics (Durham). Which would offer me the most value for my dollar?
