Pass with Merit, although I was kind of hoping to achieve a 65% average but was just below that.
75% for my dissertation, which makes up 60% of my research project.
The other 40% is "Coursework" (supervisor's marks and presentation). I got 58% for this and am so annoyed! I did the project at work and now suspicious of one of my colleagues, although my presentation was a bit poor, so maybe that' what let me down...

looking to the future... do you think with Merit and 75% in dissertation I have a good chance of getting a PhD studentship?
cheers. hope I don't seem too negative, just slightly raw tbh
======= Date Modified 03 Nov 2011 11:42:41 =======
My experience was a low/mid 2:1 at a former poly (72% in dissertation), pass at Master's at a former poly (78% dissertation) - they didn't 'do' merits, only pass or distinction.
I'm now on a fully funded PhD studentship at Durham.
So yes it can be done - and nothing was brought up/mentioned about my previous grades when applying for and being interviewed for the studentship.
Congratulations on your great result :) go celebrate! (up)
