cass offers only 40 hrs contact time per ST subject - they pretty much leave you to do your own studies. This is the feedback I got from couple of my friends. Kent offers 72 hrs per subject and they teach you PROPHET software.
oh, forgot to add - Kent offers exemption from CA3 (Communications) - quite valuable as I have a lot of friends stuck with just CA3 to qualify!
Good luck.

I'm currently looking at postgrad MScs in Actuarial Science, and have come across the part time distance learning course at Leicester Uni. Has anyone had any experience of this course? Has it helped them get a job upon completion? Is it as good as the taught in person courses?

Hi,
I am an Indian student and I want to study Msc in Actuarial Science from UK. As per my understanding there are 3 universities that I can apply to- Kent, Herriot Watt and Cass business school. I would really appreciate it if you can share your suggestions about which university is better in terms of teaching(both course teaching + any software's that they teach), in helping with job placements and in terms of cost benefit.
Thanks :)
