Hello,
I'm a Dutch student and I want to do an MSc in Management in the UK. I've been accepted at the Edinburgh School of Management, Bath Business School and Durham Business School. Can anybody give me advice on which University to choose? Internet rankings differ quite much and I'm not very familiar with any of these places. Thank you.
Hey...I was in the same situation as you a few days back...I got acceptances from Edinburgh, Bristol and Lancaster....Got rejected by Kings College and Manchester....Out of the lot Edinburgh was the best option....The overall university is ranked in the world top 25 (Times-QS World University rankings, 2007)...The business school is in the world top 50 (based on the FT MBA Rankings, 2008)....In Times Employer rankings also rated Edinburgh in the world top 15....So the university has a really good reputation...The uni is also backed by 425 years of history with people like Charles Darwin, Adam Smith, Gordon Brown, Sir Walter Scott, Alexander Graham Bell, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and many more scientists, historians, writers and Nobel Prize winners being students here....
I would suggest you guys one more thing that don't only stuck with the rank or total score of any ranking body ... check out things as per your preferences as well ... like if you're more concerned about Job scenario, then check out list as per job prospects and so on.
Plus apply where you seem best fit to save yourself time and money.
