Hi everyone,
I am looking for a Masters in Project Management. I am a Chemical Engineer (MSc) with 2 years' experience in industry. I don't want to leave my job, or go to full-time study. And by the way, I am not a native speaker.
I have found two interesting distance learning programmes:
- Industrial Project Management @ Birmingham ( https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/postgraduate/courses/taught/chemical-engineering/industrial-project-management.aspx#CourseDetailsTab )
- Project Management @ Aberdeen ( https://www.abdn.ac.uk/study/postgraduate-taught/degree-programmes/258/project-management/ )
The Project Management Masters at Aberdeen is APM accredited. I can't find any info about accreditation for Industrial Project Management Masters at the University of Birmingham.
Has anyone had any experience with these programmes? Any other similar programme that I have missed?
Is ranking important for a University? and accreditation?
Is a Masters in Proj Managment right for my career? I would like to be a project manager or an operations manager in 5-8 years.
I am also considering to wait 3-4 years and do an MBA.
Any advice? :-)
Thanks!
G
Oh! That's good news. Thank you!
I have also found a course at Robert Gordon University:

Again, any thoughts? Any advice?
Cheers,
G
