Hey I'm from India and pursuing my Actuarial Science from here. With a good number of papers under my belt, I'm now looking to pick up some work experience, but I don't want to drop my papers. I am looking at a UK work permit that will allow me to gain some work ex, and a part-time course at some UK university in actuarial science. TWeS is out of question since the course wil require 2yrs.
My question is-Is part-time study on a work permit possible? Are there any complications? I'd like as much info on this as possible. Any info on Australia in a similar scenario is also welcome. Thanks.

you will find tons of relevant information there.
good luck!
well i don't know what they cover and what they don't, but i always found them useful, and i'm not on a student visa either. they do also say that if you have a question which isn't covered on their homepage, you can call them, so that might be an option for you. they are very helpful on the phone, too. even if they can just point you into the right direction for more info...
