I'm currently putting together an extended piece of online journalism on the culture of unpaid work experience in the UK. I'm trying to find out what peoples experiences are of doing unpaid experience, and whether they think employers are taking advantage of ambitious young people by allowing them to work for them for months on end without pay.
The project is currently in its infancy, but I'm hoping I'll be able to build up a fair amount of traffic around it by collating together a lot of different interviews - both with interns themselves, as well as government representatives, employment experts, and the companies that take interns on.
