Hi! I am a single parent considering doing an MBA - my options are likely to be an Online MBA or a course at Kent University (which doesn't appear on any ranking tables I've seen!) I am fully aware that there is a certain amount of "snobbery"/status attributed to "ranked" schools.... is it a waste of time/money/effort achieving an MBA via these "less prestigious" routes?

Do you mean the University of Kent? I don't know anything about their MBA programme, but on balance it's a good university.

Look quite deeply into who accredites your online MBA, and make sure you feel comfortable that it is legitimate.
