which is the best MBA online university??

M

Hi, I'm looking forward to studying MBA but i cant find the right univeristy.
can someone please help. please state the most accredited and world wide recognized university online. Also low tuition could be helpful.

I might be moving to the US in a couple of years, does it mean its more preferable to find an online uni from the US?
I found the list below:
1- liverpool online uni.
2 - walden Onlin uni
3- Roehampton Online Uni,
4- Uni of Phoenix
5- Kaplan uiniveristy

Thank you Guys.

Avoid online unis. They are a waste of time in most cases. Half of those you have mentioned aren't online nor in the US anyway.

MBA's are bogus degrees, the online ones are worse, they are practically sham degrees. Read a book called "Ahead of the Curve: Two Years at Harvard Business School by Philip Delves Broughton" before applying to any MBA. Even the HBS-MBA is not for everyone.

I think you can go for Liverpool or Kaplan. These are quite good. However, if you are planning to do

I would have recommended you TBird straightaway without any doubt.

This: online university are the McDonald's of the education sector. Save some money and buy yourself a worthwhile educational "meal".

I think there are at least two different types of 'online university'. I would tend to agree with you about the ones that just seem to exist to collect money in exchange for qualifications, incognito, but as I've posted elsewhere, I did my Masters with the Open University and found it to be excellent, and it's largely online. I was also reading about an online university that has started with the aim of reaching people in countries with poor access to higher education, and it has some impressive sponsors and affiliations. Some people are not in a position to 'buy' the traditional uni experience and it would be a real shame if their achievements were discounted because of the scams that are out there.

Good point unfortunately I don't think there's a mechanism or procedure by which the online university sector is regulated for quality etc… until then people like me will always have this impression. Having said that OU has been around for a long time and do provide good courses I was referring more to unis such as the "University of Phoenix" which is not that great tbh and others out there who do not provide a worthwhile experience.

Funnily enough my partner is looking for a part time Masters to do, and it turns out that a lot of the mainstream universities are offering online Masters (probably a sign of the times - less funding for Masters courses and more people wanting to fit them in around work). Hopefully this might lead to a better status for the genuine ones.

I suggest picking one of the online MBAs accredited by the Association of MBAs:

This question comes up more often these days. To be straight to the point, there are many good MBA programmes out there, especially with a well ranked University.

The Telegraph just put this article out: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/educationopinion/11041456/Online-MBA-courses-no-longer-second-rate.html

The world's top business schools are now offering MBA programmes online, says Professor Anandalingam, Dean of Imperial College Business School.

Good luck in your search for a good MBA! It does pay off financially when you apply it to your career.

hello frd ,
Avoid online universities ..regular universities are better than online ..

You can choose weekend MBA programs (https://www.uowdubai.ac.ae/mba-degree-in-dubai/master-of-business-administration). I have completed my MBA from the University of Wollongong in Dubai. From my experience, I prefer weekend MBA programs over online MBA programs.
