Hello- I dont think it would be fair to say that one is 'better' than the other, but the University of Sheffield does have a more longstanding reputation. Saying that, it really depends on what you want to do and who you want to work with.

I would go for University of Sheffield, taking into account Vince's comments. Vince - for an international student its not just about a good course, its also about a reputable university. a good course in a dodgy uni won't get you a good job in the international market.

Sheffield no doubt for finance. Especially if your doing risk management. Prof. Dowde from uni of Sheffield is perhaps the most famous in the field from UK
