Hello everybody , I need help with this question. I am originally from Nigeria, I have been in the UK for over 9 years now , I Obtain a First masters here in the UK as an International student. I Really need this postgraduate student loan however i have read on the website you cannot get it if u already have a masters degree. The masters degree which technically i obtained before was as an international students had i go it as an international student here in the Uk , do u think Student finance will consider that a masters degree. I have never taken student loan because my undergraduate was in Nigeria. How do i go about this.

I'm afraid the restriction on existing qualifications applies for all degrees, however obtained. If you have the equivalent of a UK Masters (or higher) you won't be able to access a UK postgraduate student loan.
