Anyone else watching eurovision?

J

what do you think? Bit fed up of womaen wailing power (and not so power) ballads.

But our bloke was NOT our worst entry ever - that has to go to those airline people.

I'm not watching it but I can hear it (daughter is watching it) ... I just said to my husband that there is an awful lot of wailing. His response was 'Of course there is, it's Eurovision.'

I'm watching it. Pretty poor standard this year I think. But entertaining still. And I actually liked Scooch more than this year's UK entry.

It was a bit rubbish this year, wasn't it. Nothing that really stood out. Nothing I can hum back this morning.

I went to a good party though, so that was fun!

In Greece, Eurovision is always a huge issue (I can't understand why, though)! It is kind of a national pride issue! This year, everyone is sooooo pleased that we managed to get the 8th (I think) position, with a song that is considered as "very Greek" (written in Greek, having traditional elements, like the Lyra and the drums...).
Personally, yesterday, I preferred to watch a DVD!

Lol I watched it, still recovering and hoping my eardrums heal over again soon ;-) I LOVE eurovision lmao - its so bad its great! our guy was just dire, poor man, felt quite sorry for him really - even his backing singers were out of tune! I nearly fell off the sofa laughing when Graham said, while they were reviewing the numbers to call, 'you can't vote for Josh, you can light a candle for him though' - ha ha ha ha, that was just class. It was a terribly amount of wailing, Russia were hilarious, I'm not sure the best one won, and that girl, shudder, what an uber bimbo when they were interviewing her.....
