Hi everyone,
This is awfully off topic, but I know you intelligent people will know the answer 8-)
Basically, I'm making invitations for my wedding, but I want to use an image that I've found on google. The thing is, it says it's copyrighted- does this mean I can't use it? I want to put it on my 100 invitations, but I presume that because it's copyrighted I can't?
Really hope you can help!
Yup - if it's copyright you shouldn't use it. Can you contact the copyright owner and ask for permission?
well if you want to be honest about it you could email the person its copyrighted to and ask permission.
If you think that none of your guests will be the person who designed it - then I'd use it anyway!
First of all 'Congratulations and wish you all the Best' If you really love that pic then you can write to the company who holds the copyright to get permission. But I think if you are not getting any commercial gain from using that picture then it would be absolutely fine. You can also cite that in the reference section as well...lol
