I live on a dual carraige way in the first floor of a big old house, with a fine view of the road, and there's a man living opposite who takes his dog, about twice a day, to do its business on the grass verge in the middle of the road. The dog is a little cute thing, but it's really fat! It never gets a run in the park, poor sausage., just gets taken tot he grass verge :( It's deprived!
Ii sit in the window working on my laptop, and I see the poor little thing a couple of times a day.
Just had to say that.
:-( I hate people who do that. I live next to an orchard and see people going out, with their dog on the lead for 2 mins until it goes to the loo. poor things!
I do 2 45 min walks a day (off lead) with my littlun. She is perfectly on weight (I wish someone gave me my food in a bowl and made me chase a frisby!) and she lets me know if I'm not out on time - she usually goes out at 7am and at 2pm and she will start pawing me at 1.55 if i don't look like I'm getting my shoes on :-s
That's really awful Eska - I can never understand people who undertake the the responsibility of a pet and then allow their health to deteriorate by over-feeding/under-exercising etc. My giant doggie gets her 2 walks a day - half an hour in the morning and at least an hour in the evenings during the week. At the weekends I can spend entire afternoons out and about with her and she loves it (so do I)!!! Still anytime I put on my shoes she gets really excited as she expects to be going out so I feel dreadful heading into the office :-(
I know that feeling Ev!
I'm trying to work out walk routes for the summer that involve a pub lunch somewhere along the way, although my dogs a bit crazy and may well eat everyone's food :$
