Are you interested in community and mental health research within the NHS?
The North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) Research and Development Department are holding their annual virtual NELFT Research and Development Conference on Wednesday 27th April 2022.
Our 2022 Conference provides an opportunity to hear first about emerging evidence from research studies that have recently been conducted at NELFT and to explore new innovative studies currently taking place. The conference will include contributions from a range of experienced health professionals and researchers who are experts in their respective fields.
Themes include:
Addressing inequalities in research
Schema therapy for adults with anorexia
Self-harm interventions for young people
Psychological impact of COVID-19
Adapting Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for psychosis
Dementia toolkits for South Asian communities
Personality Disorders and Employment
The programme includes fantastic opportunities for personal and professional development through a choice of four free interactive workshops:
- LGBT+ considerations in research
- Person centred approach to research
- Qualitative research methods: an overview
- Implementing evidence based interventions
Attendees will have the chance to judge and choose the winner of our research poster competition which will exhibit a range of academic posters on current and recent studies some of which that NELFT have been involved with. The posters also provide insight into some of the research project which PhD students are currently working on.
We welcome everyone from all backgrounds and organisations with an interest in research. The conference has been designed for both individuals who are actively involved in research and those who are interested in the area.
