Hi all,

I had my first postdoc interview on Tuesday for a position that is very (very!) close to my previous research. I though I did quite well, and I was told I would hear back this week. (I was asked a bunch of technical question, I gave a presentation and then I was asked whether I would accept the job and when I would be able to start)

I have read around this forum that most successful interviewees have an offer the following day, do you think this makes me not their first choice at this point?

Second, would you suggest getting in touch tomorrow in case they don't let me know, or should I wait next week?
