I think we need a troll or some socks. Clevercloggs was quite fun but now he's gone tame :-(
Can anyone tell I'm bored?
Well, I have to say, Sneaks, all this talk of needing a troll is just ridiculous, and you PhD student. I'm shocked!!!! I should throw some of my plentiful supply of socks at you for that, but you just don't deserve it! here, have a bit of turkey instead. (turkey)
(Do you think I make a good troll?)
thanks for the turkey eska! Don't think trolls hand out turkey, so don't think you make a very good one. Maybe I shall become the forum troll?? - oh wait, i can't really be bothered.
In a very funny mood today, mainly consisting of refreshing my email and staring at my computer thinking "I should do work" - but it will never get done.
lol, what a good point sneaks! I actually get so fired up reading some troll-type posting that after I've read and/or replied I storm off back to work and get lots done! Obviously I'm a sad individual! However, I do try to avoid posting myself when I'm in foul form, or I could be names and shamed as a troll myself! ;-)
How about we ask the mods to post this on the PG opportunities section?
Troll required: Must be immature, annoying and out to irritate at all costs. This is a voluntary post, but offers genuine job satisfaction for the right person.
I do miss Garryck, and it's unfortunate that the thread was removed. For instance, Garryck on his view of how family life should be: 'Nappy changing, feeding, this would take the gloss off sex and bring some reality into boy and girlfriend relationships. This would create stability and protect girls from unwarranted sexual attention; boys would respect them more (To the parents relief). I do not approve of untrained teachers teaching children how to put a condom on3, this undignifies the whole subject and relates in no way to parenthood studies.' I'd love to have spoken to him more about his polices.
