I hope everyone is having a great Christmas!

I have a small dilemma..I have seen two projects that I'm really interested in and I'm considering applying for..great I hear you say. The problem is that both projects are within the same department and are supervised by two different people. Would it be a great no-no to apply for both projects (as I am by no means guaranteed either positions)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

I really see no good reason why you should not apply for both projects- esp if you are genuinely interested in them both.. I was in the same position as you and although I had to eventually choose between the two, keeping my options open for as long as possible did no harm!! good luck and merry xmas!
