Hi all! I would like to inquire something about the admission requirement of PhD (in medical science or biological science) in Germany. I find that most of them require applicant to have a master degree. Would they prefer MPhi degree more than a taught Master of Science degree? Thanks a lot!

indeed, a bachelor is not enough in germany for a PhD - the usual requirement is a 4.5-5 year degree, a Diplom (the old German degree) or a Master. it doesn't matter whether or not the Master is taught, all that matters is that you have that degree ...

Oh....Because I am still thinking if I should do a master (taught) degree in Hong Kong before going to Germany!
