I am studying veterinary medicine but I'm interested in research and specifically in the neuroscience/neurobiology field.
Having done a quick search online, I've seen that some universities have postgraduate programs in these fields and that they accept veterinarians.
However, I would like to know if I would be able to do the same work in research as a doctor or a biologist for example and if I would be allowed to work with the human brain etc.
Thanks in advance.
I would imagine if you are successful in getting on to the program then you could do the same as everyone else. It might make it slightly more challenging in terms of knowledge as other people on the program may have taken more relevant courses but you can obviously catch up with a bit of extra reading.
