Hi there all, i have been invited to a uni to discuss my research proposal further with a potential supervisor and the programme director. I approached them and after email discussions they have asked me down. I havent formally applied, eg completed the application form yet.
I will be doing the PhD part time, which they are fully aware of.
Has anyone any suggestions of we might discuss, if this is like a first stage interview. Any advice would be great!
Tallie K
Sounds like your potential supervisor wants to have an informal chat about your proposal and plans. If this goes well and your supervisor thinks your ideas would make a viable PhD project (which he or she probably does since they have invited you for the chat) they will invite you to make a full application for PhD when you will more than likely have a more formal interview.
