Hi all,
The long:
Most of you use the forum with consideration to others and make comments and create threads which help not only yourselves but others too.
However a small, yet ever growing percentage of you have started posting on here, getting your answers/advice then deleting all your content, it's one thing to delete content in a thread you started but a few of you also delete all the contributions you have ever made!
This is not considerate in the slightest to other users who may find themselves in the same situation and also invalidates other threads and thread content!!
The Short:
Please be mindful of other users, don't delete threads and content.
The Extra Bit:
Recently some users have asked that their posts be removed for reasons including loss of Anonymity and having received all the help and advice they need.
PLEASE be aware that when you post on the forum it is then public domain and anyone who has the internet has access to your posts. Once you put something out there, it's out there, if you think it can be traced back to you then perhaps it would be best not to write it!
We want all users to get the most out of the forum so we would prefer not to have any content deleted (unless it's spam) either by the moderators or the users!
The Consequence:
We here at PGFT have been very lenient of people who have done this in the past. Those who do it now with out good reason (e.g. duplicate posting) could find themselves banned from posting.
Thank you for using the forum responsibly.
Regards PGFT
