Hi,
Please people, I would like to know what SOAS is like. I have gotten an offer to do an MA in international studies and diplomacy and I would really like to know what the workload entails. I am really torn between going to Leeds where it is fun fun fun, to SOAS where i have heard is very boring! Any advice will be appreciated.
Hi,
I went to SOAS for my degree. It is a great university, very small so easy to get to know lots of people but had a very different vibe and ethos from other universities. I really enjoyed studying there and think it is a uni more suited to Masters study due to the less 'fun' drink attitude of most uni's. Everyone seems very focused and driven. I would def recommend it. Its also good as it is right next to ucl, has links to kings and other big unis in London so you can you there resources.
