I'm waiting on my viva, I haven't been given a date yet. I'm going through the motions of panic, worry I'm going to fail, guiltly for not spending enough time on it and completley not caring because it's too late to change things. To top it off my sleeping schedule is a complete mess but I dont think it's related to my PhD because I'm still getting my 8hrs during the day.
I haven't looked at my thesis since I submitted(looked at it once I had submitted and found a nice big typo aside from this I havent looked at it) and am afraid too because everytime I look at work I have done I find some sort of mistake. Anyone else going through this? I don't have a job either so I have nothing to take my mind of it.
Hi Lilbobeep, I am in a different postion as my viva is on Friday. However I opened my thesis two days after I submitted and found a typo! I went through, typed up the list and sent it to my supervisor who sent it to the examiners. I am hoping, therefore, to avoid the list of typos in the viva and also it shows I did not stop working on in it between submission and viva (six weeks and two days in total). At my uni many of us have our viva dates before we submit, it puts the pressure on but it really does mean you make the deadline.
