Hello,
I am in the process of applying PhD in engineering and I found some PhD positions that match my interests in a university in Sweden. The university webpage has 4 PhD positions which each position has a slightly different description with the others and all of them will be supervised by one professor. I believe that I have qualifications required by these 4 positions, so I would like to know that it is appropriate for applying all positions? and if I apply, Can I use the same personal letter, CV etc. to all of them?

Don't apply for all of them. Apply for one of them and mention in your cover letter that you would like to be considered for the other positions as well if not successful for this one.
