Hi all,
I'm undergrduate genetics student. Just got my final year results last week, and I've only got a 2ii simply because I failed 2 question in one exam, and now I'm very upset:( I'm hoping to apply US university to carry on my PhD studies in structural cell biology. I understand the GRE exams are quite important but without a solid honours degree would I stand a good chance getting a PhD in US? Or should I take a year out for a MSc course? any suggestion would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance, pip.
Dont waste time doing a MSc you still have to do a Msc course wrk whether you have one from Uk or another country so dont waste time. They dont consider your overall grade in the US like they do they in the UK only a basic degree is required + GRE scores. If you want to improve your chances try to do the subhect score also and they will overlook your final grade
