Hey guys,
I'm currently doing an MSc program and at the same time looknig for a PhD project. would you guys help me with few questions.
First, what is the best way to choose a good and interesed topic (Immunology). second, in most applications they ask for an outline and proposal of the topic, how can I fill this part. Do I need to pick a topic then look for universities that have it or do universites have list of topics that i'll choose one of 'em..
Based on what I found when I was looking for projects earlier in the year most projects in the sciences have already been decided upon. In other words you pick an advertised project and apply to it. Best places I found to look were findaphd.com and new scientist. Some projects come with funding and are advertised as such.
In terms of research proposals I have absolutely no idea because I have never had to submit one!
Hope that helps
