I had applied for ATAS before 35 days but they only send auto generated mail that will come within 48 hours there is no any other response and i m waiting for acknowledgement mail & for final mail.
so pls suggest me what i do. i have unconditional letter from university of Glasgow MSc in mechanical engineering and management.
hi Isunildhayal
welcome to the forum :-) I assume you sent off your ATAS application in good order (everything filled up correctly); then there shouldn't be a problem. Just wait for the ATAS approval letter to come back.
If I'm not wrong, you cannot proceed with the visa application without ATAS approval.
There is not much you can do but wait a bit.
Relax :-)

first of all i really feel relax after your response so thax for that.pls suggest me that if atas will not come within next 20 days then could i apply again and i m from engineering background and i m working as a lecturer from last two years. so could i try for MBA.what is more better MSc in relavent subject or MBA.
my main aim to do the master is to acquire a good job.it's very tough time for me well i m not confused but i m not sure about ATAS.if ATAS will not come then i go with my second option.so i have some question regarding this
1.) job prospectus for MBA holder in UK
2.)is it good decision to do master in management although having graduation from engineering background.
3.) is it easy to take work permit for two year after study.
if u have answer of these questions then it helps me a lot.again thanx for your cooperation

hi sunil
nice to hear from you. I think you should not apply for ATAS again once you have submitted your application; approval should arrive in good time.
I'm sorry I don't know which is better, an MSc or MBA. What is it you want to do exactly?
Are you not happy with your present job? Your offer from university of Glassgow is in engineering or management, or is it both? If the conditions are good, and they give you full stipend, perhaps you can consider doing it, if that is what you really like.
Oh yes, was your 2nd option applying again? is this to ATAS?
1) job prospectus for MBA holder in UK; I think there are lots of jobs, but whether you can find the one you want, that is a risk you'll have to face. I have a friend who works part-time at supermarket (MSc in IT), he has been doing this for over a year, while searching for a job, and still has not found anything.
2.)is it good decision to do master in management although having graduation from engineering background; in my humble opinion, you do management because you like it (first of all) and you think you are able to do it; and you have to be prepared to learn new things and possibly "suffer" a bit, because this is not your field. It is not impossible. But whether it is a good decision goes back to why you want to do a master now and what master is it.
3.) is it easy to take work permit for two year after study; if you have found employment then your employer helps for the work permit. Again there are some risks. but usually people start looking for jobs under a student visa (work 20 hours per week) and from there to full time job and work visa.
take care
