Hi, I am in my first 9 months doing PhD in Australia in computer science. I also got some funding from my government (Vietnam) to study in the US. Sometimes having more than one choice make me confused. I want to go to US to work in industry after PhD. Anybody here knows the chance for an Aussie PhD to find a job in the US? it seems to me it's hard, even at the very first step: apply for a working visa.

If you do well in your PhD work in Australia, you should be able to find a job in the US after you finish. Don't worry about visas at this stage, first try to figure out what matters to you more.
