Hey guys,
I'm new to the forums, but will (hopefully) be sticking around for a long time! I'm looking to start a PhD, I've got a rough idea of what I want to do and where I want to do it. I'm aiming to start next academic year (September 2013).
I assume the vast majority of you are working towards a PhD at the moment, so was wondering: what's the best time of year to apply? Is there a specific time of the year that loads of studentships/funding opportunities arise? When did you apply for your PhD?
Many thanks in advance for helping me!
Hi P123,
I'd be interested to hear if anyone thinks a specific time of year is busier - I feel like we are always busy!
Have a look at the latest PhDs section of the site http://www.findaphd.com/latest-phds/ you can see how many have been added today.
good luck in your search.
