Hello. I am trying to sort out my references and embarrassingly, am still unsure what I should put in as place of publication when two or more cities are given. For example - is the place of publication here Aldershot or Burlington?

If you are in the UK, put Hampshire at this is the place of publication for the UK. To be honest it doesn't really matter which one you put though :)

I would look at how other authors reference them. Usually for Ashgate is Aldershot, while Yale University Press uses two: New Haven and London.
