I am a student who is interested in bioinformatics field .Who want to make friend with me and tranfer the information about informatics . My mail : [email protected]
If you wish to do a masters in bioinformatics i would suggest to do an MRes. In UK there are many universities like Imperial, york leeds glasgow and brunel that have such degrees with an integrated placement project.
It would be best to chose the ones that have statistics modules as well- they are more prefered by employers.
hope that helps!
An MRes is a Masters degree which trains students for a career in research and is often a precursur to a PhD (although unlike an MPhil the student must complete the MRes before applying all over again for a PhD place).
i am currently in final semester of Msc in bioinformatics. i am interested in doing phd from england. can anyone please suggest me , which universities to apply, and whether they provide any scholarship.i will remain grateful if someone answers my queries. bye .
