Changing results in a camera ready version of the paper

A

I submitted a paper in a conference which was accepted. I reran all my test cases again and noted that there was a small error in the results I wrote in the originally submitted version, which I now want to correct for the camera ready version. The error is small enough and not significant.

My question is that is it allowed to have a difference in the results between your original submission and camera ready version of the paper, or this could land me in trouble and hurt my reputation?

Surely it's better to correct the error rather than ignore it? I would just highlight this to the conference organisers so that they don't think you're trying to sneak in something different.
