I have been accepted for MSc in New and Renewable Energy at Durham University and MSc Sustainable Energy Technologies at University of Southampton. I am having a hard time deciding among the two options and would very much like suggestions. Suggestions based on postgraduate job prospects would be extremely useful.

Have you visited both uni's and certain departments in each respective uni yet? Both uni's are high in the rankings but departments within a uni maybe rubbish or excellent.
I funnily enough contemplated studying Sustainable Technologies but decided to go towards environmental coastal engineering route. I been to Southampton already as it's my 1st choice, i loved the campus and the city.
For me personally what i have been looking for in choosing my masters course is the modules from the course i.e are there many optional modules available & does the uni have good industrial links and teach what the industry requires therefore making me more employable when i graduate.
Was is just those 2 uni's you applied to?, i remember lots of uni's doing similar courses when i was searching for course in renewable energy.
