I visited Thailand a few weeks ago. I stayed there for a week or two. I ended up meeting single women in Thailand. This was really fun but one chick really stood out among the rest and I went out with her 4 times. She was really nice and beautiful. I want to contact her again but I’m really not sure if I should. I’m based in another country and I’m not sure if long distance relationships are bearable. I’d love to hear from anyone here who is in a long distance relationship. What pushed you to start the relationship even though you knew it would be long distance? Is it really that hard? How often do you visit each other?
Maybe someone should explain their opinion / view so that jacoblincoln understands why he isn't getting the advice he is asking for. Otherwise not very helpful!
It could happen! I know someone who did something similar. He thought he was the only one, but after a year or so he found out she was dating lots of men from different countries!
For me the alarm bells were 'ended up meeting single women', 'Thailand', 'this was really fun', 'chick' and 'went out 4 times'...
OK... I am still not quite clear here.
Was this post a bait to make people get outraged, as pm133 suggests? Or, was it a genuine question from a naive person?
Those are two completely different different things!
I have no idea what the OPs purpose was, just that it didn't come across as genuine to me. I expected some sort of link to click on for Thai women at the end. It's also got nothing to do with postgrad stuff and it was a first post from this person, so I figured it was spam whatever its intentions were.
