Hi guys,

I have applied for both MSc in Environment and Development at the LSE and Development Administration and Planning at the Development Planning Unit. I think that my admission at the LSE will be difficult, I am Civil Engineer and the background for the MSc is in social sciences, even with my field work experience. At least I have tried it.

What I want to know is if anybody knows about the DPU program. Is it well run? Have prestigious?

I have been involved in development for years working on field (NGOs and research for universities), and I would like to do a further step, perhaps UN, EU, government cooperation agencies, etc. Do you think that UK is a good starting point? Are there prospective in this career?
