Hi - just joined this forum. In a bit of a mess as I only last week was informed unofficially that my Director of Studies had been made redundant 8 weeks previous. However, no provision had or infact has been put inplace. Feel rather at sea as only in my 2nd year p/t study. I have written a very strongly worded letter to the head of the institution and as yet nothing is happening. I know I need to be self-reliant but I feel in very early days with my research. My other 2 supervisors are not overly hands on where my D of S had been. Feel at a bit of a loss as desperately trying to keep my momentum going. Any advice - gratefully received. Thanks L
