I'm seriously considering applying to do a PhD in applied translation with a university in the UK. I'd be interested to hear whether anyone here has any advice for me on which universities might consider enrolling me as a distance learning student, either on a part time or full time basis. Also, has anyone had any experience of doing a PhD on this basis?
