I would say it's not that important to meet both supervisors (as the interview panel is usually a range of different people)but it's quite strange you didn't get of the current students! Usually you get a tour of the facilities with a student guide so you can get details on the uni, staff, student life etc... without the staff present!
As long as you get along with your main supervisor that's the most important thing. You can also go to anybody else for advice that you think may help! Your second supervisor is there to give an alternate opinion and is really so you have someone else to turn to if you have problems with your supervisor!
