Hi,
I've got an interview for a PhD next month and have to prepare a 10 min presentation for this. But I'm not allowed to use electronic aids or overheads. Has anyone got any advice what to do best and how? Can only think of a poster, but I don't know how the panel will be seated and whether they can see it. I really want this project, so any help is much appreciated!!!
Thanks!
Congratulations in getting the interview...
Poster sounds to be the best solution. You can also do some A4 or A3 handouts of your poster (or something extra as supplement to your poster) for each panel member. Do you need any help with creating posters? It is likely that you would be in front of a panel in a small room. We discussed posters on the forum before by the way, plenty of good info with regards to legibility, readability, print issues etc.
Make sure your speech does most of the job though. If they are not allowing you to use anything electronic, this might be because they want to see your presentation skills without any aids.
Good luck (up)
