Entry Requirement

G

Hi all, I want to apply for a PhD at Kings College London, their entry requiremnet is a 2:1 degree.
I have a 2:2, and also a Msc by Research. I know its a reputed colllege.
Do i have a chance to get in with my qualifications? After all they do say a MSc knocks up your degree abit!

Thanks!!

A 2:2 plus an MSc is regarded as being equivalent to a 2:1 for the purposes of starting a PhD. This means that you fulfil the research councils requirements, but you will still need to convince the supervisor. The research based nature of your MSc may even give you an advantage.

just try then worry about what they'll say later...after you've send in your application. usually the last degree you've done is usually the one that is used as a measure of your ability. don't worry about the 2.2 too much.
