I have just been accepted for a PhD Studentship next yr, and I know that the money they offer is not that great. I would like to get a bit more money, has anyone got any experience on finding any industry/company sponsership/Intership while doing your PhD?

Studentships with industrial sponsorship are available. The most common of which is a CASE award. These studentships are tied to particular projects and you can't have them added to an existing studentship. We have not heard of people in your situation obtaining additional funding in this way, but like you we are keen to hear from anyone who has.

Yeh im always interested to hear of any little tips and tricks to top up that BBSRC grant!!!
