Hi friends!I am 32 years old from Pak. I did my MSc and got 82% overall. Can you tell me whether it is 2:1 or 2:2, I don't know what is this system of rating? Now I am again doing MSc from UK and I got two A grades and two B grades(above 70% forA, above 60% B)in the first semester.
Can any body please tell what are my chances of getting a scholarship for phd? Being an international student the fees is very high and I cannot afford it. By the way fo r MSc too I have taken loan otherwise that too was not in my reach. My story is very long and sad and don't want to waste your time. I have no research exp except one project in previous masters and one I will do in this masters. no publication nothing.
please help me, i don't know what to write, i am fed up with searching many universities in uk and in germany and austria. In Uk either funding is not available or supervisor is not available. In germany and austria the topics that I like they have age limit and I am overage.
what to do?
Can any body please tell what are my chances of getting a scholarship for phd?
Thats impossible to say [even more so as no subject area was mentioned]. What I can say is that competiton for UK PhD funding is intense and the overwhelming majority of the funding goes to UK [and EU] students.
You'll be better off apply for schemes specific to international students, e.g. Gates Scholarships...
