Hi all,
I am finishing up my undergrad in a few months, and I would really love to do a PhD in America (I am from Europe). However, my GPA is fairly average (around 3.0 by the American scale). Are any of you familiar with a university where I actually stand a chance of admission to a PhD in Finance, and still get tuition waived and a stipend? I am not picky.
I am open to any and all suggestions. I was lacking direction in the beginning of my degree, it was not until I got finance classes that I knew what I wanted to do. Hence my pretty poor grades. Has anyone been in the same situation and made it through a PhD? Do I still stand a chance at making it? Now that I have a goal, I am putting in the effort, and will continue to do so.
List me all of the US universities where you think I stand a chance at admission! Thanks!
Regards,
Patrick
