Hi - the free healthcare recieved by many uni students is related to income rather than being in education. If you're still on a low income, you may be entitled to free healthcare. The relevant form is called the HC11 I believe. You can get them from most health centres and it is basically an income assessment form thing.
I'm not sure this is true.
All full time university students are entitled to free prescriptions for example, if they don't get it it's because they haven't filled the relevant form.
As a postgraduate full time-student on a stipend of more than yours I get free prescriptions.
No you are not entitled to free prescriptions and health care as a rule. I actually made enquiries and, given my income, they said I would not get a HC2, which is the certificate you need if you want free specs, dentistry, prescriptions, etc.
