Hi all, I am currently a masters student in one of the Erasmus Mundus programs and intend to go direct for my PhD as soon as I finish my present program. We are now submitting our topic proposal for the masters dissertation and will be rounding off the program next year August. My worry are as follows,
1. How do I cope with writing the PhD proposal while still writing my masters dissertation?, and
2. How will the school for the PhD assess my masters program since my masters result will
not be ready at the time of my application later this year?
I will be happy to hear your views regarding these two issues that are giving me sleepless night.
Hey,
1: Well, you just will need to cope with it. Start writing your thesis early enough ;) (sounds so easy)
Do you have to write the proposal yourself?
2a: Does the PhD prerequisite a Master? In my case it didn't and I only had to bring them my Bachelor diploma.
2b: There's a lot of people in the exact same situation every year. Normally you can bring in the Master diploma once you have it. Just ask the administration guys of the PhD institution.
