This is a long shot. But I just can't find the journal or magazine called 'Discovery' anywhere - web searches and jstor don't throw up anything.

Has anybody heard of a publication called Discovery?

I need it for:
“Queen Charlotte’s Zebra,” by Dorcas MacClintock, in Discovery 23(1): 2–9

Is it an archeology journal? They've got it at Sheffield Uni. You might be able to get it on inter-library loan, I'm not sure. But if you do a bit of homework you'll get it.

Not sure if you got sorted by now, but a quick search of my uni catalogue reveals "Discovery: a monthly popular journal of knowledge" published 1948-1966, became Science, formerly Modern Science...

The years 1948-1966 are volumes 9-27 so your year is 1962. Volume 1 was 1938.
