There is a PhD project that i am really interested in doing but it is not a studentship and I would have to pay for my own fees. Is there any funding organisations that i could contact that might be able to help? I will be living at home.

It depends where you are from, what the subject is and where you are studting. The first person to ask about internal and subject specific scholarships is the project supervisor.
